API reference overview

Every endpoint on these pages is generated from one OpenAPI 3.1 file, the Bilt partner API.

Base URLs

The endpoints you host live at base URLs you agree with Bilt during onboarding. Bilt hosts the rest:

Authentication

API	How you authenticate
Endpoints you host	The bearer credential you issue to Bilt.
Account links	`Authorization: Bearer <token>` from your partner client. See Authentication.
Order reports	Ed25519 signature in `webhook-*` headers, plus `X-Bilt-Key-Id`. See Sign your requests.

Errors

Account links errors use one envelope, {"error": {"code", "message", "requestId"}}. Order reports answer 202 and report problems later as a reason. Both are on Errors and retries.
